PhD in Science at Federal University of State of São Paulo (Universidade Federal de São Paulo – UNIFESP) (2003). Postdoctoral at Education in Health Science Federal University of State of São Paulo (Universidade Federal de São Paulo – UNIFESP) (2010). Counselor of Municipal Health Council of the City of São Paulo 2001 – 2010, representative from Research Institutes and Private Institutions of Higher Education. Member of Brazilian Association of Nursing – Education Director / First Treasurer / Second Treasurer in different administrations. Also, act at National Commission on Secondary Education and Graduation. Currently, is director of Center for Studies and Research in Nursing – Bahia Section (Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas em Enfermagem – CEPEN). Education and Research Director of Brazilian Academy of Nursing History (Academia Brasileira de História da Enfermagem – ABRADHENF) 2010-2014, is tax adviser.
